I feel so sorry for the children Written by kathleen (elder) (8/17/2011 9:28 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 67 (Brabourne 54), penned by Myretta

Fanny is only 15-16 years old, and she is now "in charge" of getting her younger sisters a governess. And Lizzy & Marianne are so young to be leaving home having just lost their mother less than 4 months previous.

I wonder if JA is remembering when she & Cassandra were sent away to school (when JA was about 8 years old)?
