An awkard acquitance ?   Written by Mandy N (8/15/2011 2:05 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 65 (Brabourne 52), penned by Myretta
Are you new?

Jane remarks on Miss Murden; 'The worst part of her being in Southampton will be the necessity of our walking out with her now & then, for she talks so loud one is quite ashamed,'

She intends to be polite, but Jane, apparently, was not keen on keeping company with Miss Murden.

A hint of Emma's attitude toward Miss Bates ?
