Rug = no coffee stains? Written by Kathrin (8/15/2011 7:42 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, I think it could be a rug that goes under, penned by kathleen (elder)

I'm all for the "a rug that goes under the coffee urn" theory.

It might have been to save the furniture from coffee stains
because coffee urns tend to be leaky as far as my limited experience with them has taught me.
