Marianne [] quite right   Written by Stephanie (8/14/2011 3:56 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 64: Working a rug for Uncle John's coffee urn?, penned by Line
Are you new?

That is amusing: I assumed Jane (or possibly her mother) had been promised something, and Marianne was requesting permission to switch her next project from Jane's whatever to John's urn rug.

I suppose I am basing this on Jane's phrasing being similar to the sort we use in our family, because your explanation makes as much sense, from the meaning of the words. Only the delivery can tell us which is right, if either of us.

By the way, I had guessed that an urn rug goes under, rather than over, an urn. I would like to know for sure, if anyone can field this one?
