So much of the biographical information comes from the letters between Jane Austen and Cassandra. Events included in Deirdre Le Faye's A Chronology of Jane Austen and her Family are:

November 2 - Frank is aboard the St. Albans in Portsmouth Harbor and the ship remains there unto the end of the year.

A Financial settlement regarding the Stoneleigh estate is signed, with Rev. Thomas Leigh succeding to the inheritance.

Early November - Frank Austen and his wife stay briefly in Southampton (mentioned in letter 61).

November 11 - Book John is christened at Godmersham.

November 14 - Mrs. Knight makes her will dividing her property between her brothers Charles and Wyndham Knatcbull, with specific legacies to Fanny Knight and each of Edward Austen Knight's younger daughters.

Most of the rest of the events in for this time period comes from letter 61.
