To Chawton...thanks for link.   Written by Mandy N (2/2/2010 9:26 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter #61: Moving plans, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

Perhaps Edward Austen-Knight re-newed the offer to his mother & sisters of a home on his estate; being now a widower with children and looking to family support ?
Edward probably appreciated Cassandra's presence at GOdmersham, not to mention Jane's looking after his little boys so well during the mourning.

How glad Jane must've been to return to rual Hampshire, to a home with a garden.
I've seen Jane's Chawton house tour before but I always enjoy views of Chawton's garden; esp. the view through the window.
