I find that the tribute JA pays her dear sister in law is something I would love said about me:

"...but it is sweet to think of her great worth, of her solid principles, of her true devotion, her excellence in every relation of life."

This is a different JA than the one we have seen in the letters so far...This is not the flip chatty Jane, but the feeling woman who loved her family and friends dearly.
