Vulgar Economy   Written by Mandy N (1/27/2010 8:44 p.m.)
Are you new?

'I shall eat Ice & drink French wine & be above Vular Economy.'

I love this quote of Jane's; to think of her eating Icecream at Godmersham. She mentions dining with friends and Conversation. Jane seems more relaxed than earlier in the visit. Perhaps she does not feel so odd in the Yellow Room.
Jane is at leisure yet expects to soon be at home, when Godmerhsam will sem like a Dream as she attends to domestic concerns;
'The Orange Wine will want our Care soon.-'
