I like the beginning of today´s letter: I give you all joy of Frank's return, which happens in the true sailor way, just after our being told not to expect him for some weeks.

What a happy surprise it must have been to receive him earlier than expected. But I imagine that they also experienced the opposite: waiting for weeks due to change of weather or mission... It surely wasn´t easy to be a sailor´s wife!
