This may appear to be a rather trite and a bit odd but here goes...

As I was reading the first 2 letters, I was struck by how all the names of the people she was writing about are also names used in her novels. Makes sense. Those were/are common British names during the 18th and 19th and many many other centuries.

So as I was reading the letters, when I came across mention of certain names, I was picturing the actors who played those roles in the movie versions of the books.

Take "Charles" for instance, I pictured Mr. Bingley as depicted in the 1995 movie.

Louisa-- I pictured the actress who played Louisa in late 1990's version of Persuasion.
