Godmersham Park   Written by Elizabeth K (1/25/2010 9:29 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Godmersham, penned by Myretta
Are you new?

What a beautiful house it is! Thank you for the lovely photo, Myretta.

For some more information about the house, as well as some lovely photos of the interior and grounds, Jane Austen's Regency World has an excellent article (linked below). There is also a picture of the exterior of the library but it is a shame to read that "the interior has been very considerably altered across the years" - what a pity that Godmersham has not been preserved as a Georgian home.
