Does anyone have an idea what JA meant in par.15:

...after dinner we visited the Temple Plantations, which, to be sure, is a Chevalier Bayard of a plantation. James and Mary are much struck with the beauty of the place.

I'm guessing it must be positive, if James and Mary were impressed with the beauty of the place...
