This is a fabulous wrap up Julie; the information and the pictures—all wonderful. I am glad to know Jane got her time by the sea and I feel much relieved she will at last have a home she can esteem. I cannot help but despise James and Mary! I cannot help but delight in Charles! His gifts of the crosses to Jane and Cassandra are so thoughtful and kind, his sisters were lucky in him.

I have to also mention that I greatly enjoyed the connections you made between Jane’s letters (life) and her novels.

You have done a tremendous amount of work to make this group read an enlightening, entertaining and enjoyable journey and it surely has been for me. I am very glad to say I have been on the journey since reading letters 1 to 16 in 2005 and each group read since has been better and better—the links to the past two letters group reads were very handy. Looking forward to the next one with great anticipation. (;D)
