The Pickfords   Written by Robbin (9/21/2007 2:08 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 37 : A Disciple of Godwin, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

On Friday we are to have another party, & a sett of new people to you. –The Bradshaws & Greavess, all belonging to one another, and I hope the Pickfords. (Letter 38)

I looked up Mr. Pickford and I see what you mean by his not being JA’s cup of tea. I think he might give Cassandra and Jane much to observe and talk about—perhaps that is why she hopes the Pickfords will attend their party. (;D)
