Note that JA was able ,with this infllux of cash, to hire a piano, for the cost of Ł2 13 shillings and sixpence.

At this time she was living in Southampton.

So perhaps she mamaged to hire a piano in Bath to replace her Graner which was sold in the Steventon sale?
