Great ballroom scene...   Written by Robbin (9/19/2007 9:10 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 36: Drunkeness in Bath, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

I welcome such an account. Culture has changed significantly but it is nice to know people have not changed so much over the years. Jane is not shocked but amused at the folly of the pair—I guess it is unlikely that either took the reins of a conveyance in their inebriated state but I guess it would be just as unlikely they would do so even if they were perfectly sober. (;D) Poor Jane, I think her Bath amusements are already wearing thin—I hope it is only because of the season or something like. The intolerable card parties! I have great sympathy for her. (;D)
