Aw, what a beautiful little poem *sniff*   Written by Line (9/19/2007 8:17 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 35: The Leigh Perrots., penned by JulieW
Are you new?

Imagine getting something like that during a time of great stress from your husband of (I presume) many years. It just goes to show that while outsiders may say "What does he see in HER?", or vice versa, what makes a particular marriage happy can be one of those enduring but pleasant mysteries of life!

I enjoyed the sillhouette too - they do give an idea of what people *really* looked like, as opposed to the artistic conventions of the time!
