Reminds me of Elizabeth Bennet   Written by Tracy W (9/16/2007 2:26 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 29: We Plan Having a Steady Cook…, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

The passage:

I get more and more reconciled to the idea of our removal. We have lived long enough in this neighbourhood: the Basingstoke balls are certainly on the decline, there is something interesting in the bustle of going away, and the prospect of spending future summers by the sea or in Wales is very delightful.

Reminds me greatly of Elizabeth Bennet:
Elizabeth was excessively disappointed; she had set her heart on seeing the Lakes, and still thought there might have been time enough. But it was her business to be satisfied -- and certainly her temper to be happy; and all was soon right again. (chpt 42 of P&P)
