When we visited Ibthorpe   Written by JulieW (12/2/2006 12:24 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, And what is fifty miles of good road?, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

Mrs ffrench-Blake told us that before the raos were made beter in the late 19th early 20th century it was not "uncommon" for the road through the village to be unpassable due to flooding, especially in winter.....JA is clearly using this fact as an excuse not to return that visit ;-) Naughty girl....LOL
