I too enjoyed the part where she related everyone's opinion on her dress, but for me the LOL line came at the end of the letter, in one of the postscripts. She writes, "Charles likes my Gown now."

How like a sibling to first say one thing (perhaps to be the contrarian?) and then change his mind! I love the little bits of these types of passages in the letters.
