The Trail of Jane's Aunt   Written by Robbin (12/1/2006 8:58 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mrs Leigh Perrot's Trial, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

This was an incredibly interesting essay and I LOL at "Filby denied having had any dealings with a pawnbroker picturesquely named Crouch, but admitted his partnership with another man named Crout. With such a name in the firm, we are not surprised to read that, like an earlier enterprise in which Filby had engaged, the business went sour."

Poor Aunt Jane! It sounded like a terrible ordeal to go through and I cannot help but like her as she titled Jane and Cassandra "Elegant young Women" and also how she "could not accept the offer of her nieces to attend -- "to have two Young Creatures gazed at in a public Court would cut me to the very heart."

Thanks JulieW!
