..that of Mrs Bramston.

Here are the notes , made by Deirdre Le Faye of a letter Mr amd Mrs Wither Bramston wrote to Mrs Hicks Beach, the orginal of which is now in the Bramston Archive at the Hampshire Records Office.

Mrs Bramston is organsiing a Sunday School for the local children and Mr Bramston has been working out the costs of providing beef soup for distribution to the poor.

Mrs Bramston does nto intend to go to the next Basingstoke Ball but the Miss Austens will come to dine at Oakley Hall and then go there acompanied by Miss Augusta Bramston and the Bramson's friend Miss Anne Woodward
