These were morning entertainments at which music would most probably be played and the paying spectators would also partake of a fashonable Georgian breakfast.....tea, coffee and most especially hot chocolate were served, together with the typses of cakes and bread rolls, brioches etc that Mrs Austen so disapproved of when the family stayed at Stoneleigh Abbey in 1806 ;-)

...chocolate,coffee,Tea,Plum Cake,Hot Rolls,Cold Rolls,Bread butter and dry Toast for me..
