Paragraphs in JA's letters.   Written by Mandy N (12/1/2006 3:11 a.m.)
Are you new?

Re: Letter 24 and Letter 25, there are notes inserted presumably by editor D. Le Faye. For exmaple,

[ End of p.4, next paragraph upside down at top of first page ]

Letter 25 has a similar note;

[End of p.4- two paragraphs upside down at the top of p.1]

I wonder why the letter was constructed in this manner.
Could it be typical of letters in JA's time.
To save room on the page, or was it to do with folding up the letter ?
Thoughts, anyone ? :)
