Beautiful firework displays.   Written by Mandy N (11/30/2006 11:36 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Signor Invetto., penned by JulieW
Are you new?

'the Fireworks, which were really beautiful & surpassing my expectations;' -Letter 22.

I can imagine the excitement and wonder of specators to these displays of glittering lights against the night sky as shown in the watercolour by J. Greves.
Signor Invetto may've been considered an 'artist' with his picturesque firework displays by the genteel class.

I don't know about the noise yet no wonder Jane and her contemporaries enjoyed the fireworks at Sydney Gardens-
One we can enjoy for Celebrations.

The etching of the fireworks is interesting too.
Wonderul pictures and information, Julie.
