Mary was to receive one. Yes indeed, a very thoughtful gift. Thanks for the information and sharing your childhood memory. I only remember my mother’s old barrel looking washer which had the rollers to squeeze the water out of our clothes after it ran through its cycle--then we would take them out to the clothes line. As you probably know, the rollers were small, unfortunately for Mom, they could not do much to remove wrinkles and rather put some into our clothes so she always had to iron too. ;D
