Are you new?

Why did they go to Bath in the first place? Was it because Edward had some sort of complaint? JA talks of him taking the waters and some not seeing the benefit until later. Then she mentions the possibility of gout, but then that is refuted. Then she says the doctor says it is a stomach problem.

What am I to think?!
