Are you new?

Bigg-Wither girls were capricious and that they only bothered with Cassdandra when there was no other compay to hand..a bit like Lady Catherine using(and dropping!) the residents of Hunsford Parsonage for company when it suited her, perhaps?

And IIRC, wasn't one of the Biggs-Wither girls called...Catherine...Hmmmmm ;-)
