Is the lady in the middle wearing a veil over one tremendously important and large hat? It looks too square to be just her hair underneath. Is she wearing a black veil because she is older or because she is in mourning? Did women wear black when not in mouring? I think Mary Crawford wears a black dress in MP2, was that correct and was it unusual to wear black if not in mourning? :D
