A printed letter?   Written by Line (11/28/2006 6:57 p.m.)
Are you new?

In letter 21, JA wrote her sister that "Edward...wishes You very much to send him a printed Letter & so does Fanny (p.45c)" Did she simply mean that the children wanted Cassandra to print all her words, rather than using cursive, which might be harder to read, or did she mean something else?

BTW, I wonder what "the Itch" was that Cassandra wanted to keep her family away from?
