Accomplished ladies…   Written by Robbin (11/26/2006 9:52 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Some familiar places........, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

We owe so much to the talented and accomplished ladies of the Austen family—we would not know what JA looked like if not for Cassandra and Anna’s portrait of Steventon Rectory are very sweet and fairly detailed so that I have a wonderful impression of JA’s first home. Then of course we have JA to thank a million, zillion times for the everlasting picture of her world in her writing. I think they were extraordinary and quite likely fearsome to behold. ;D Thanks Julie W for including these pictures and do not think me insincere when I say thanks in advance for what you will post later! ;D
