I'm reminded of the determindly stylish Isabella Thorpe in NA !

JA mentions Coliquet is to be the fashion this winter (Dec. 1798).

In NA, Isabella notices a hat in a shop window with coliquet ribbons.
-Coliquet (poppy red) was the fashionable It colour of the early 1800s' in trims, accessories and those bright red woollen cloaks seen in Diana Sperling's watercolours.
