...which is what I love about reading these letters, someone who worries about bonnets and who to dance with is someone I can kind of relate to! Maybe it is just to disturbing for some to accept that someone who is rooted in an everyday world can also be a great writer. But there are also so many signs of her writing ability also, her humour and her perceptive insights into the society around her. It does feel a bit like eavesdropping. I guess I feel like we've been doing it respectfully.
