I have also wandered about that letter, Written by Janine B (9/1/2005 10:47 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Tom Lefroy, the End? (Letter 11), penned by Robbin

And finally I believe it was from Tom Lefroy.Mrs Lefroy in a subtile way,and without a word on the subject "Mrs Lefroy made no remarks on the letter" shows the letter to Jane and all is said.It is very moving,because it seems that until this moment,Jane had kept a small hope in the bottom of her heart,and is realising that there will be definitively no future for them "..and it is therefore most probable that our indifference will soon be mutual".

(Of course just my feelings,and I may be completely wrong.)
