it is a very Emma-like thing to say.And of course she ahd no idea when she amde it that we would all be reading it 200+ years on.

However, having said that I do find it a very callous thing to write: she was surrounded by sisters in law who were giving birth on an almost yearly basis.

However clever a remark, or however much she might have disliked this couple its still an awful thing to have written,IMHO.
