officially on the 10th November 1812.In a letter (number 77 Le Faye- which is so far ahead I do not consider it a spoiler!LOL)) Ja remarks that she willl have to learn to write a better "K"....

This was ,I understand, a condition of him inheriting the estates left to him by Mr Kngiht.

He officially changed his name two years before the dispute regarding the barring of the ential of the Chawton estates was commenced in 1814.
