Are you new?

I have seen a facsimile of a letter somewhere (perhaps Tomlin's bio?) and it looked very jumbled and crowded and the ink faded. Perhaps the tight letters were easier to read when the ink was fresh and bright. But then, a lot of print looks jumbled and faded to my 40+ year old eyes. =)

I read Le Faye's collection of Austen's letters several years ago and enjoyed it. Having just caught up on the GR and JulieW's fabulous postings it's a joy newly discovered.
