This is Bifrons......   Written by JulieW (8/30/2005 10:50 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Bifrons?, penned by Carolyn Ruth

Are you new?

Isn't it lovely?

To give it its full title it's Bifrons Park , near Patrixbourne,in Kent.

The melancholy pleasure was caused by one Edward Taylor, the owner.

Le Faye in the Famliy Record speculates that it was in 1792 that JA visited Kent ,staying again at Rowlings with Edward and Elizabeth, that she met briefly with Edward Taylor and his beautiful dark eyes.

Sadly the hous was comlety remoddeled in1864,and then was demolished in 1948.
