corresponding with Tom Lefroy? I think he is/will be supposed to be in Dublin.

I think maybe she is being sarcastic that he's not going anywhere further than Cork! And if he is then this information isn't worthwhile as they cannot laugh about his short trip!¨

At least our brains are beginning to form plots worthy of novels ;-)
