I have found ..   Written by Reeba (8/30/2005 9:33 a.m.)
Are you new?

three instances where I can see how she used her actual thoughts, wit and comments in her books.

In letter 5:
Mr. Richard Harvey is going to be married; but as it is a great secret, & only known to half the neighbourhood (LOL!!), you must not mention it.
Reminds me of Emma.

In letter 6
She talks about a pair, Miss Fletcher and Lucy (somewhat like Lydia and Kitty perhaps) who can correspond only on the strenght of the presence of military officers in Canterbury.
Now a new set of officers have arrived there so Miss Fletcher has nothing to say to Lucy. LOL!! Jane's remarks are great.

In the same letter she talks about Mr. Richard Harvey's match is put off, till he has got a better Christian name.
Reminds me of Persuasion and it's Richard, who had only one thing to his credit, which was to get his name shortened to Dick.
