Silhouette done in 1783 Written by Carolyn Ruth (8/29/2005 1:39 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I doubt..., penned by Reeba

This silhouette was done by Wellings in 1783, the year when Edward was formally adopted and would have been about 15. The child shown appears much younger than 15 IMHO. Since he was only twelve when they met, I guess the artist was playing with dimensions a bit.
