At school   Written by LaurieC (8/29/2005 9:27 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, 'finest comic writer'., penned by Reeba
Are you new?

"I could die of laughter at it, as they used to say at school." Jane and Cassandra were sent away to school together for a period of time, weren't they? They must have learned to keep each other's spirits up, and I think we see this reflected in the letters.

I found this very poignant: "...and enquired very much after you [Cassandra], whom she supposed to making your wedding-clothes."

Like you, I am hoping to learn more about Cassandra through Jane's correspondence.
