Are you new?

Reading your post made me wonder what would have happened if somehow it had worked out---if may be the families had merely advised them to wait until Tom had a chance to raise his fortunes. Would Jane have continued to write once married to Tom or any to any man for that matter? Would there be less novels, maybe more. I would venture to say they certainly would have been different because her experiences and personal surroundings would have been different most likely producing different stories or similar stories in different settings with other characters possibly. It's something to ponder.
