Yes, Cassandra was the one who always went to Godmersham to help Elizabeth when she birth yet another child, poor thing. I suppose that looking after, what - eleven? - children could make you a bit snappish... ;-)

I agree - Elinor and Marianne seems to fit here, doesn't it? Which disconcerts me, for I can't read S&S without wanting to smack Marianne! LOL!
