I have the same impression re Cassandra.

And yet Cassandra was the one who looked after the children etc,etc.Was she just practical?

I just get the impression she was the sensible one and JA ws the fun sister.

JA being more of a Marianne Dashwood/Lizzie Bennet type and Cassandra the Eleanor Dashwood role in the family.
