...At the moment I'm glad to find the letters so lively and full of social meetings and handsome men and balls and dancing. At least JA wasn't hiding away in a tower somewhere, pining after someone. (I've just read quite a sad romance and in a way it is influencing everything I'm thinking and perhaps in a week I will think differently!)

PS this is my first GR, I hope I make it through to the end! The letters seemed quite hard to get into at first, they aren't written for us to read, but enjoying them also.
