Thanks and a Question...   Written by BarbaraB (8/28/2005 1:06 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Greetings!, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

I would like to add my thanks, Julie. I have been looking forward to this. I am also one who has not read most of the letters (a few here and there only). I have had a copy of THE ILLUSTRATED LETTERS OF JANE AUSTEN sitting about for several years now but have not delved into it (actually forgot that I had bought it and suddenly remembered it when I saw the group read announcement). Anyway, I see this as the perfect opportunity to finally begin a serious reading of the letters. I am wondering about the sequence, though---if it will be the same as the La Faye order. My question is this, would anyone happen to know if editors in gerneral arrange them the same, sort of a standard sequencing if you will, or could I possibly run into a problem along the way. My thoughts, are that each editor will probably order the letters according to their own agenda and reason for publishing. If so, I guess I will need to get another copy in the near future. (Sigh---$$$) B.
