Illuminated greenhouse?   Written by Barbara (8/28/2005 11:42 a.m.)
Are you new?

Jane mentions that they had a very good supper at the previous night's ball, and then talks of the illuminated greenhouse. Presumably, the supper would be in the greenhouse? I suppose it would be much cooler out there, especially in January, which might be a relief after dancing, etc. How would an entire greenhouse be illuminated. All candles, or some other means?
