Thank you for the link, Julie. It helps to picture the church and rectory when reading these letters.

The recipient of the letter, Cassandra was in Kintbury. Do you know who she was visiting and where that is located in relation to Steventon? I had to laugh at Jane's teasing her about not returning until the 19th to avoid seeing the Coopers!
