That's an amusing and interesting and a very relevant comment, Tracy.

In fact half the enjoyment that I am getting from the juvenilia is this abrupt change of subject. Sudden happenings not at all related to a particular situation and highly unexpected.

It's also interesting to see the germ of ideas she elaborated in her later novels.

I love these juvenilias. Didn't know they would be so interesting and amusing.
